Welcome to the official website of the Iowa Institute for Social Action.
The Iowa Institute for Social Action (IISA) is a leadership training event for people of faith residing in the four Catholic dioceses in Iowa. Various speakers and workshops enable attendees to become better advocates on social justice and peace issues in their local communities as well as throughout the world.

The event is sponsored by the Iowa Catholic Conference, the Archdiocese of Dubuque, and the Dioceses of Davenport, Des Moines and Sioux City. The event is a primarily funding by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
